Directions to Auburn Ski Club (ASC):

Depending on the weather, there are a couple of ways to get to ASC. The quickest is to proceed up US 395 to Carson City. At the south end of town, head up Highway 50 to the top of the grade. Turn off onto Highway 28 (north) and drive around Lake Tahoe. This is the best way, AND scenic, IF the roads are in good shape. Drive through Incline Village and head to Kings Beach. Turn right onto 267 and head into Truckee and Interstate 80. The other alternative if the roads are sketchy, is to drive to Reno and pick up Interstate 80. Regardless.... now, once you are on Interstate 80, drive past Truckee to Donner Pass. Look for the Castle Peak exit and Boreal Ski Area. Auburn Ski Club is at the far, western end of the parking area.
