Directions to Truckee High School:

Depending on the weather, there are a couple of ways to get to Truckee. The quickest is to proceed up US 395 to Carson City. At the south end of town, head up Highway 50 to the top of the grade. Turn off onto Highway 28 (north) and drive around Lake Tahoe. This is the best way, and scenic, IF the roads are in good shape. Drive through Incline Village and head to Kings Beach. Turn right onto 267 and head into Truckee and Interstate 80. The other alternative if the roads are sketchy, is to drive to Reno and pick up Interstate 80. Regardless.... now, once you are on Interstate 80 near Truckee, look for the 89 South -- Lake Tahoe (exit 185). This goes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Tahoe City. Get off on the 89 South exit and turn right (north). Turn left (west) onto Donner Pass Road (the first intersection), and drive about a half a mile to Truckee High School, which will be on your left (south).
